Superstar contest from MFT stamps - Coloring Virtuoso
Hi everyone!
Since I saw the Superstar contest on My Favorite things blog I decided to challenge myself to create an autumn scene using my Spectrum Noir markers.
Here is my card and I am pretty happy with how it turned out! What I did first was to stamp the cute critters from Harvest buddies stamp set using My favorite things Hybrid Black licorice ink and then attempted to color the background.
I never feel confident enough to create my own backgrounds using alcohol markers , I usually stick to ink blending or watercoloring , so to make sure I like my background I started using very light colors and slowly building the scene and the color scheme.
When everything was finished I stamped the sentiment from the same set and then added some details using a white gel pen!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much Vanessa ! This was my first attempt I just watched some videos online:) I gotta admit is pretty scary :)) as I have Spectrum Noirs and not having all the colors or the nib so you can make nice flicks :) but honestly you just got to try and don't stop till it looks good :)
