Wish you a beautiful day

Hello everyone!

Today i am sharing a card that i made for two challenges.
Oh i haven't play along with challenges in very long time. In between DT projects and family not much time left for me to check the challenges or to make a card in time.
So being able to do a card that works for two challenges is something that makes me very happy.

For this card i was inspired by the challenge image on Altenew blog and also by the Seven Hills Crafts current challenge .

To start my card i stamped the gorgeous flower from Altenew - Beautiful day stamp set using Antique linen Distress ink on watercolor paper and colored it using some markers that i found at a local store.
First i just wanted to test the markers but i really like how the coloring turned out.

Next i die cut some frames from white cardstock and glue them together to have a bit of dimension and also inked a bit the background behind the flower using Worn lipstick distress ink (but doesn't show that well in photos)

To finish the card i stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and added some sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by! have a lovely day!

  2. This card really caught my eye in the Altenew challenge linky. I love the coral color, and your shading is very well done. The way you used the scalloped frame in addition the the scalloped layer really gives the card a classy feel. Love it!
